Fisher Commemorates Black History Month

U.S. Senate candidate and Ohio Lt. Governor Lee Fisher released the following statement in commemoration of Black History Month:

“I am proud to honor the rich history of African Americans in Ohio and across the country not just this month but throughout the year.  Black history is American history, and as we celebrate the contributions of African Americans to our national heritage, it is important to note both how far we have come and how far we have to go.  We must not waver in our commitment to ensure equality and opportunity for all Ohioans now and in the future.”
